Warning: Cozy Days Ahead.

It's so crazy to think that we're already halfway through November. Fall is my favorite season of the year, particularly because I love the colder weather and watching the color of the leaves change. The other part that I really like about this season is being able to spend the holidays with family and friends.

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I've been taking a lot more time to reflect on life. 2016 has been filled with many blessings, adventures, and memories. I'll never forget my first trip to Europe, chasing waterfalls past midnight, or even cliff jumping for the first time.

Looking back, 2016 has been a major year of low-maintenance style. Being an extremely busy person, simple and comfortable styles are a daily staple. Dresses have been a huge lifesaver. I would probably choose a dress over a pair of pants any day. Seriously.

Red En Creme Dress from Pürre Boutique

Last week, I purchased this lovely red dress from the brand, En Creme, at Pürre Boutique. Red is my favorite color, and the simplicity and versatility of the dress had me sold.

For those of you who are curious as to why I'm not wearing a sweater in the middle of fall, it's because Southern California is still very warm during this time of the year. Our weather is starting to cool down...slowly but surely.

Moving onto the shoes, I found these black "Wind" heels on RestrictedShoes.com while on the hunt to find the perfect shoes to wear to my upcoming holiday events. As a long time customer of Restricted Shoes, I can attest to the level of comfort and style that their shoes provide. Long story short, I first came across their brand a couple of years ago on ModCloth, when I was looking for a pair of oxfords. Ever since then, I've been hooked!

In terms of personal style, I look for shoes that are both comfortable and versatile for everyday wear. While I'm a huge fan of Restricted Shoes flats and sandals, I've recently grown a deep appreciation for their heels as well.

Upon visiting the Restricted Shoes website, I began looking through their selection of flats before deciding to give their heels a shot. Low and behold, I came across these divine black "Wind" heels. From the get-go, I could tell that they would be comfortable.

The suede upper material is soft, yet sturdy enough to provide support. As someone who is prone to blisters, I had no issues with chafing or breaking in the shoes. The laser cut detailing creates a sense of breathability in the shoe, which is a huge plus. The 3.5 inch block heel is great for height and balance, and the ankle cord tie adds a nice finishing touch to the shoes. Overall, I wore these shoes all day with no issues and loved it!

The black "Wind" heels definitely fit my trifecta of a kick-ass shoe: comfort, style, and height. If you're looking for a pair of chic and reliable shoes for work, a date, your next holiday party, etc., I would highly recommend these shoes.
